Myths and Legends
Myths
& Legends Dance Company leans towards Theatrical Dance, and specializes
in Story Telling Dance pieces. These are captured through fusion of several
dance forms, the use of theatrical makeup, and splendidly ornate costumes
they design and create themselves. From beautiful to monstrous, humorous
to sensual, they have presented such pieces as, Drowner’s, Amazons, Pandora’s
Box and Amadeus, to name a few. They delight in the process of creation,
and recreation, inspired by the folk legends from many countries, as well
as creating themed pieces specifically for those with a story to tell.

Myths and Legends: Bedtime Stories
Myths
& Legends: Bedtime Stories, is an offshoot of their Story Telling, Theatrical
Dance Fusion Company. This feeds into her new discovery and love for Burlesque
and Vaudeville. Enjoy the freedom, feel the liberation, and drown in the
rhinestones, feathers, sequins, and lace whoredom! Their Amadeus piece that
birthed at Cairo Carnival–and then grew to glory at Tease-O-Rama 2007–is
announced thus; Dandy P and his lovely Lady Birds welcome you to an little
soiree where they tease, titillate, taunt and tempt you to distraction!
She performs as Mimmee La Fleur as her alter ego for Burlesque/Vaudvillian.
